13Sleep Disturbances
Anyone can have trouble sleeping for a wide range of reasons, from not having enough time to wind down after a hectic day to drinking too much caffeine intake during the day. But, they can also be an indication of depression. No matter how tired you are, depression may make you have difficulty in sleeping. Increased time staying asleep or insomnia is a marked change in sleeping pattern, may be another symptom of chronic depression.
It may be that you are awake with a lot of worries, or feeling impossible to have a good night’s sleep. Whatever reason it is for keeping you awake or sleeping for a longer period, you should talk to a therapist or your healthcare provider. [12]
