8Cold Sores
Cold sores or fever blisters are mainly caused by the HSV-1 virus. Once you have been infected, the virus will stay in your body forever and often reactivate, which triggers the breakout of blistering rashes. There might also be other signs such as menstruation, stress, or fever. A cold sore could be painful and might take from 7 to 14 days to recover. The blisters’ fluid could spread the virus to other people via personal care objects, sharing items, oral sex, or kissing. Antiviral or topical drugs might help alleviate the signs and reduce the severity or duration of the outbreak. [8]
