7Rashes
People with mononucleosis often have a rash after several weeks. It might first show up on the upper arms and torso and then spread to other parts like the forearms or face. You can also notice red splotches around the roof of the mouth. The exact appearance of these rashes can vary, including purplish, little blisters, raised bumps, or red spots like measles. If you take some antibiotic medications to fight other infections caused by the Epstein-Barr virus, you could also develop rashes associated with these drugs. [7]
