12Unexplained sensations
Some patients who are experiencing a Lyme disease might have chest pains or sharp ribs. In most cases, it would send them to an emergency room because of suspecting a heart issue. After the usual test when no issue is found, the diagnosis often notes it as unidentified “musculoskeletal” causes. In addition, there might be other strange, unexplained sensations such as itchiness, numbness, skin-crawling, or tingling. Other symptoms are often associated with cranial nerves. These include:
– Hearing loss
– Toothaches or jaw pain which is not associated with infection or tooth decay
– Ear-ringing, also known as tinnitus. It could be a nuisance, particularly at bedtime. When you are trying to fall asleep, everything seems to become louder. [12]
