8Neem Leaves and Oil
Neem, a widely-known and powerful substance is being used for several thousands of years (and still counting) by the Indians as a remedy to relieve irritated skins because of its gentle and soothing properties. It also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help relieve symptoms of pinkeye. You can do a neem eyewash for conjunctivitis by boiling a ¼ cup of pure neem leaves in 4 cups of water for about 10 minutes. Let it cool, then use to wash your eyes at least twice daily. If you are using the oil, wipe it around the eye and eyelid before going to bed. [8]
