2Cold Compress
If you have tried out a warm compress and it seems not to go down well with you or not working for your pinkeye, you can also try a cold compress. A cold compress has been proven to reduce inflammation and soothe swollen and red areas on the body. Get a tint-free washcloth, soak it in cool water, wring it out and place gently on your eye. You can try out this process as many times as possible until your pinkeye relieves you. If both of your eyes are affected, do not carry out a compress on both eyes using the same washcloth to avoid spreading infection. Get separate washcloths for each eye.
