12Tulsi
Tulsa is also known as holy basil. This plant contains anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral properties that will help combat bacterial and viral infection, as well as soothe and calm the eyes. Tulsi is widely known for its help in protecting the eyes from environmental damage and free radicals. For treatment, you can make an eyewash or warm compress using this leaf. Soak tulsi leaves in boiled water for 8 -10 minutes, allow to cool and wash your eye with it. Also, soak a washcloth in the warm tulsi water, wring and place on the infected eye. If you are using a cotton pad, endeavor to use a fresh cotton pad for every compression. [12]
