5Frozen Shoulder Diagnosis
If you experience pain and stiffness in the shoulder, visit a doctor immediately. A physical examination might be needed to access the overall range of motion. Also, the doctor needs to observe carefully when you perform some specific movements and access your shoulder’s range of motion, such as using your hand to reach the opposite shoulder. Some other tests might also be performed. For instance, an MRI or magnetic resonance imaging scan can be done to rule out any pathology or tear in the rotator cuff. Also, X-rays can be helpful in checking for abnormalities or arthritis. [5]
