5Smoking
All of us know that smoking can be harmful to our health. Nevertheless, many people do not realize the effect of tobacco products on the skin, both in the long-term and short-term. The skin is comprised of 3 layers: subcutis, dermis, and epidermis. Smoke can penetrate into all layers and reduce the elasticity of the skin. This increases the risk of many skin issues, including milia. The only way to avoid it is to quit smoking immediately. [5]
