11 Psoriatic Arthritis Signs & Symptoms

9Inability to Move Joints

In the world today, psoriasis has made quite several people immobile and render them permanently disabled. With your joints inflamed and swollen, moving them is highly challenging and even impossible in severe cases. One of the signs is a reduced range of motion and as the disease progresses, the inability to move increases.

This symptom is one of the reasons people with psoriatic arthritis get depressed. I agree that being restricted to one place, without the ability and strength to do all that you wish you to do can be so disheartening.

Although the inability to move the joint can be as a result of sports injuries or overuse, you cannot be so sure until you find out the real cause.
