6Morton’s Neuroma
Morton’s neuroma is not a very common condition, but it is associated with putting on high heels. A neuroma is typically enlargement of tissues around your toes’ nerves. When you wear very tight and narrow high-heeled shoes, they would compress your foot and lead to rubbing, which eventually thickens the nerve. In most cases, you might feel a burning, numbing, or stinging pain in the foot’s ball. A simple way to relieve is to switch to more supportive and spacious shoes. If it still persists, visit your doctor for medical treatments. [6]
