If someone is with dementia, they tend to experience difficulty in finding your way to a place you are familiar with or feel confused about your current location. Sometimes, in other cases, they may feel like they are living in their past.
Getting confused from time to time is a sign of early dementia. When thinking, memory, or judgment lapses, it becomes easy to get confused. Certain things like difficult remembering people’s faces, using the right words or being able to communicate with people easily.
The typical case of confusion – such as what to do next during the day, misplacing the car keys, trouble remembering who have met before – occur for a different reason and apply differently to varying situations.
