12Final Thought
Memory problems and forgetfulness do not always point to dementia. These symptoms may be as a result of aging, fatigue – just to mention a few. However, it doesn’t mean the signs can be ignored. Therefore, if you have someone struggling with any of the symptoms mentioned earlier of dementia and doesn’t seem like they are improving, then it is imperative that you visit a doctor.
You will be referred to a neurologist who will take a critical look at your loved ones or your mental and physical health and determine whether the symptoms experienced are as a result of other cognitive problems or dementia.
