7Haglund’s Syndrome
Haglund’s syndrome happens when a bony prominence located at the back of your heel is rubbed against tight shoes. It is still unknown why we develop this problem, but many experts believe that it might be caused by a tight Achilles tendon. The pain can be felt around the back of your heel. Some common symptoms include redness, warmth, swelling, and pain, all of them are associated with inflammation. If left untreated, it would irritate the soft tissue around the bony bump and lead to bursitis. [7]
