9Cellulitis
Cellulitis is also another cause of Septicemia. Cellulitis is usually a painful illness that affects the skin and is usually as a result of painful bacteria. You find that the individual may develop red and swollen areas on the skin which appears tender and soft. The swelling and the redness may spread to other parts of the skin and eventually to the entire body. It may occur on the face, lower legs and spread to the entire body. The infection causes Septicemia when the bacteria infect the lymph nodes and the bloodstream thus introducing toxic substances into the blood resulting in poisoning. [9]
