5Personal Hygiene
Your personal hygiene would be a possible cause of bladder infections. When using the toilet, wiping from back to front would transport the E. coli bacteria to the urethra from the rectal area. Thus, always make sure to wipe in the opposite direction. Also, clean your genital areas carefully with water and mild soap when taking a shower. Avoid using scented bath products when you often have infections because chemicals would irritate your body. Similarly, do not use deodorants around these parts. Change your sanitary products frequently, such as sanitary pads or tampons. [5]
