9Optic Neuritis
Optic neuritis is another condition of the eye that can bring about a blurry vision. It is a condition characterized by the inflammation of the optic nerve, the nerve supplying the eye. It is usually caused by an autoimmune attack, for example, lupus. Usually, optic neuritis affects one eye. This inflammation may have symptoms of pain around the affected eye, flashing lights in the visual field (primarily causing blurred vision), and loss of color vision. [5]
