4Executive Dysfunction
Executive functions are those abilities to help you transition smoothly, manage time, and stay organized. Those people who suffer from autism tend to struggle with these skills and might need some special strategies like rigid schedules or plans to adapt. Some common signs of executive dysfunction might include losing things, difficulty keeping a clean living space, trouble switching gears or starting a new task, having issues with time management and procrastination, forgetting some self-care activities (brushing, bathing, eating), and not remembering something like conversations or homework.
